MCI's VP of Business Services hired Sullivan Walsh to reengineer the way MCI recruited and selected sales representatives. By reorganizing the recruitment and selection process, clarifying roles, and developing selection tools, we enabled MCI to improve the quality of its sales force. We also provided the economic foundation for substantially expanding the size of the sales force, leading to several years of double-digit sales growth.
