Before founding SWA, Dean was a partner at Center for Workforce Effectiveness, consultant for Sibson & Company and Hewitt Associates, and Director of Marketing Research and Strategy for Mason Companies. Dean holds an MBA from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA from Lawrence University. Outside of work, Dean has served as Chairman of the Lattof YMCA board of directors and as strategic advisor to organizations such as St. Joseph Services, Northridge Preparatory School, and The Willows Academy.
